The Client

William Anelay

The Challenge

Urbanise were approached by the client to help rectify a quality issue with the appearance of the distinctive moulded concrete walls, supporting the steel frame of the building. The challenge was to integrate the necessary temporary works, to remove new defective structural concrete and replace it with specialist, moulded concrete on a congested town centre site.

The Solution

Urbanise designed and erected significant temporary works to support the recently erected steel frame before employing a floor mounted saw to cut out the defective work and then replace.

The Result

We completed the project without having to remove any of the existing steel frame or delaying any of the subsequent trades that were already programmed to start. Finishing on time was a critical deliverable that we met.
